Liverpool endured another disastrous night at Anfield as they were beaten 4–1 by PSV, extending their alarming run of poor form across all competitions.
The pressure on manager Arne Slot intensified as his side started sluggishly and never recovered. PSV struck early when Virgil van Dijk was penalised for handball, with Ivan Perisic calmly converting the resulting penalty.

Substitute Couhaib Driouech added two late goals — one from a rebound and another with a precise low finish in stoppage time — to complete a memorable victory for PSV and underline Liverpool’s deepening problems.
The result leaves Liverpool drifting in the league-phase standings and heightens the urgency for Slot to find solutions as the battle for a top-eight spot tightens.
