The defending champions, Senegal kicked off their Africa Cup of Nations title defence with a comfortable 3-0 win over Gambia in Group C.
In just five minutes into the game, Pape Gueye struck after good work from Sadio Mane to break the deadlock. Lamine Camara then scored twice after the break – including a brilliant curling effort late on – to make it 3-0.
