Nigerian journalist, David Hundeyin has lambasted Pastor Paul Adefarasin for asking his congregation to ‘move on’ in what many believe is connected to the 2023 presidential election.
Pastor Adefarasin in a viral video on social media could be heard saying ‘’Samuel has invested so much prayer for nearly 28 years for Saul. Saul was doing well for a while but started to make a wrong turn. And he’s still praying to God to fix him. And one day he’s talking to God and God says stop talking to me about the past because as long as you keep talking to me about the past, I can’t talk to you about the future. And even if I did, you wouldn’t hear me because you are consumed with the past.
He further stated that ‘’you must learn to move on without having closure. Because if you have to have closure, it means you need an explanation from God. And if you have to have an explanation from God, it means you don’t really trust God.
Hundeyin who took to his X, formerly Twitter account tweeted: ‘’Dear base character for the pastor in King of Boys, I promise nobody asked you.
‘’Plus your family doesn’t even live in Nigeria, so of course, it’s very easy for you to urge people to ‘move on’ because you have no skin in the game, you corrupt flaming asshole.’’
