President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has said that he is most likely to be tested for coronavirus after being very close to a Brazillian press aide over the weekend.
Over the weekend, at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump came into contact with a Brazilian press aide who was diagnosed Thursday with coronavirus.
Asked about the press aide’s positive test on Thursday, Trump said: “Let’s put it this way, I’m not concerned, OK?”
“I don’t think it’s a big deal, I would do it, I don’t feel any reason—I feel extremely good,” said Trump, adding he had “no symptoms, no anything.”
His language howoever, changed of Friday afternoon during a press briefing at the White House where he declared national emergency to combat coronavirus.
When asked by a reporter if he would be tested after interacting with a Brazilian official, he said, “most likely I will be tested for coronavirus.”
