The Lagos State House of Assembly has impeached Speaker Mudashiru Obasa following multiple allegations of fraud. The lawmakers voted for his removal during a plenary session on Monday, according to multiple sources.
While details of the impeachment remain unclear, Deputy Speaker Mojisola Meranda has been appointed as his replacement.
